It is yet again that exciting time for the annual East Coast Radio’s House and Garden Show. This year’s theme is “Home is where the heart is” and is drawn from the focus of redefining the concept of a home by showcasing timeless trends and style.

The event is running from the 29th of June until the 8th of July at the Durban Exhibition Centre and will be filled with exciting new trends, exclusive show features, exciting pop-up events, new exhibitors and amazing prize giveaways.

WHAT IS NEW

From the inspirational theme of 2018, “Home is where the heart is”, there will be a beautiful botanical inspired modern landscaped entrance to the hall, designed by Durban’s Msimang Landscapers Consultants, as well as a vertical garden of life-like silk from Silk by Design. New pop-up features include Discover Durban Cuisine Kitchen; Local Street Art; Discover Durban Design; and a Gin Garden Bar.

 

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND

They asked and it was delivered. The following pop-up events are back, by popular demand:

  • Homegrown design fair
  • KZN travel and adventure show
  • Builders DIY Pavilion
  • The Foodie Fair – bigger and better

For gamers they can expect:

GEEKVILLE

Fun-filled activity consisting of card and board games, monopoly competition and Rubik cube competition. Special features include an escape room, tattoo artists, medieval fighting demonstrations and 3D printing.

DURBAN GAMING EXPO

East Coast Radio House & Garden Show in association with N-Tech Computers present the first ever Durban Gaming Expo. DGE is a multi-genre gaming experience and competitive scene set in Durban. DGE will be following Mind Sports South Africa international Rule sets for all competitively played games.

FOR THE KIDS

This year’s expo is excited to have amazing entertainment for the kids, that will keep them busy while the parents enjoy their own entertainment
